The encapsulated key is PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) seat, non-encapsulated type often use two O-ring as valve seat to stay and seal the ball, but encapsulated type cover the ball fully, meaning that the ball is not exposed to any internal cavities only when the valve is closed, regarding full port, the encapsulated ball valve results a more hygienic environment. Mounting pad is a good thing when you want to the valve actuated and manually, so when you choose encapsulated ball valve, you must tell the supplier you want actuated one.
ISO5211 mounting pad, this is what i said actuated, it is wide and with four bolt holes for actuator. Please see below picture.
To save cost, there is another mounting pad with threaded holes and lockable. We call low plate, you have add a supporter if want it actuated.
Try this below economy type if you prefer the valve manually only, it is lockable and encapsulated as well.
